Jo Tillbrook - Founder of Tillbrook Legal & Senior Commercial Lawyer
Jo Tillbrook is a versatile senior commercial lawyer with over 20 years legal experience. She established Tillbrook Legal in 2013 to offer flexible legal services on a freelance basis to companies and in-house legal teams in the media, telecoms and technology sector. She advises on strategic projects, complex contract negotiations as well as providing legal support on a variety of consumer, B2B, procurement and contractual matters.
Before launching Tillbrook Legal, Jo was Assistant General Counsel at Virgin Media where she led the Consumer legal team and was responsible for all legal support for Virgin Media's consumer division including products, sales, advertising, marketing and brand.

Jo started her legal career in the Media, Technology & Telecoms team at Clifford Chance in London before moving to Clifford Chance's Hong Kong office for two years where she helped to establish a commercial telecoms practice.
I set up Tillbrook Legal because, as a lawyer, I enjoy variety and new challenges, so working on a freelance basis gives me the opportunity to work with different businesses on lots of interesting and diverse projects.
There's also an increasing demand from businesses for flexible legal resource they can call on to work on particular projects or contracts where they either don’t have the expertise internally or just need some extra resource for a short time.
